Special Attack- Drill Missle: Places left hand on right arm and fires the drill at the opponent in a spinning motion. Another drill appears to replace the drill that was fired off.

Minoru's personality is mostly outgoing and is normally happy, but he can be cautious when it comes to new places or really crowded areas. He still enjoys being around others and tends to stick by his friends when in crowded places. He has a habit of asking about various things, especially when it came to Brain Burst.

History-
When Minoru lost his older sister's stuffed animal at the age of 6, he remembered that he had taken it to the park with him and round up finding it there. What he did not notice was how late it was getting and thought he was lost when he was almost home, since everything looked different to him when it was dark. While he was crying, while holding the stuffed animal, a boy named Takumi Hayashi, who was a year older than him, came up to him and helped him find his way back home. Minoru thanked the boy, as well as his mom, who had been looking for Minoru in the neighborhood and had asked their new neighbor's for help. After that day, Takumi and Minoru became good friends even after Takumi's family had to move for a bit to take care of some relatives when they were in middle school.
It had been years since the incident, he had developed a small fear of losing things and getting lost, as well as the fear of the dark. It was around the time that he was first entering highschool that he met Takumi again. Minoru was really happy to see Takumi again, even though the other teenager had a new strange habit of gambling with various things. Including a new game that Takumi had picked up while he was living in a new part of Tokyo, Brain Burst. He told Minoru that he should try out the game and soon Minoru could not resist to try out the new game Takumi had, since Takumi kept his mouth closed when asked about the game.
When Minoru had the game installed, he was excited to finally see what Brain Burst was really about. Takumi's duel avatar was called Torrent Gambler, while Minoru's duel avatar was called Stizza Drill. Minoru is excited about exploring Accel World and fighting other duel avatars.
